CACN – A TIME FOR CHANGE

CACN NEEDS YOUR HELP

 

CACN needs your help to surviveAfter eleven years, our editor has decided that he will “retire” at the end of this year, following the production of the December issue. We celebrated twenty years of publication of the magazine last year which, as you are aware, is produced and distributed free of charge throughout the parish, entirely by volunteers.

The passage of time means that we are all getting older (with several of our staff having served for many years). The publication of the magazine has now reached the stage where the Management Committee believes that it is time for change and that younger blood is needed to carry publication into the future, so —

 

WE REALLY DO

NEED YOUR HELP!

 

We need volunteers to act as the new editor and to form a new younger Management Committee to take over the roles of organising the production of the magazine (advertising, distribution, website etc.) and to take it forward, perhaps in a new direction. Sadly, without your help, publication of the magazine next year may cease. Whilst Lucy is happy to step into the editor role temporarily, it is vital that we find a new editor and volunteers to form a new Management Committee to take over and run the publication. In order to ensure a smooth transition, the current Management Committee will readily help the new committee during the changeover.

The future of the magazine now depends on the community and
