This year's Fête was on Saturday 16 July from 12.45pm and was a great success despite a soggy morning for the organisers and exhibitors as they were setting up. The sun came out in the afternoon and, judging by the crowds, people were not deterred by the odd shower that threatened.
A fuller report of the day's events will be posted on this page soon, along with some photos. However, in the mean time, if you would like to share some photos of your own from the day, why not put them on our facebook page...
The Fête saw the second running of the Crich Monument 10k race which saw over 140 runners taking part and was won in an impressive time by local man, Joel Stevens. There is a full update with results and photographs as well as a link to photographs available to purchase on this page.
Our thanks to local BBC Radio Derby presenter Aleena Naylor for opening the Fête with such enthusiasm.
