New Premises
We are now installed in our new purpose built surgery and some of you will have been to see us already. Our main telephone number is unchanged – 01773 852966 and when you dial this number you will be given options 1 to 4. Press 1 for appointments/reception, 2 for prescriptions, 3 for any other enquiries and 4 to speak to a secretary. The branch surgery numbers are still the same as before.
Repeat Prescriptions
Just a reminder these can be ordered over the telephone by choosing option 2 when you dial the main number. The prescription line is open from 10.00 a.m. until 2.30 p.m. Monday to Friday. You can also request your repeat medication via our website. You can collect your prescription from Crich Surgery Reception after 24 hours or collect your medication from Lloyds Chemist 48 hours later. There is no change to the opening times at our Dispensaries at Holloway and South Wingfield.
Patient Reference Group
The practice has set up a ‘virtual’ Patient Reference Group to help us to obtain feedback from our patients as to the services we provide and for suggestions as to how we may improve. We also use the group to identify new services that we may be able to offer. Dr Malcolm Ward has been back in touch with us and you will be pleased to know that he and his wife Susan have settled very well into their new life on the West Coast of Scotland.

Citizens Advice Bureau
We have been holding fortnightly sessions for the Citizens Advice Bureau for some while now at the South Wingfield Surgery but are pleased to inform you that this has now moved to our Crich Surgery. They can help you with a variety of issues including debt management, benefit problems and consumer issues etc. All you need to do is ring and make an appointment via any of the surgeries. This is a very popular session, so you may have to wait a week or two before you can be seen.
