NEXUS Mission

We are again having a group of students from Coventry NEXUS academy of Music. They will be going into local schools and taking RE and Music lessons.
Public Events will include the following:
Sun 14 March: Second Sunday @ Seven at St. Mary’s
Fri 19 March: Concert at Black Swan, Crich 8.15 p.m.
Sat 20 March: Concert at Glebe Field Centre
Sun 21 March: Final NEXUS service at Glebe followed by Bring and Share
Lunch
For the concerts NEXUS will mainly be playing covers from the charts.

Wingfield
4 April Easter Day – 8.00 a.m. Holy Communion (Prayer Book, said)
10.15 a.m. Easter Family Communion (Worship Band and organ)
6.30 p.m. Easter Service

Thursday United Lent Talks on “Prayer” at 7.30 p.m. at Crich Wesley: led by
John Ward, on 18 February, 4 March and 18 March.
Daily Lent Prayer: All Saints at 9.15 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays
St. Mary’s at 8.00 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays

St Mary’s Annual General Meeting

This will be at Church at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday 22 April.

Table Tennis

This is open to everyone (over 11) who likes table tennis. It meets on Tuesdays in the Glebe. For further information contact Philip Brooks or Ken Heywood.

Popalong Baby & Toddler Group: Friday mornings and afternoons in term time at Crich Wesleyan Chapel, Chapel Lane, 9.30–11.30 a.m., 1.30–3.30 p.m.

Groundbreakers, for 3–10 year olds on second Sundays at 10.15 a.m. and fourth Sundays at 10.45 a.m. at St Mary’s (during second service).

Worship at Glebe Day Care:

11.45 a.m. on Thursday 10 December, Tuesday 12 January, Thursday 11 February.
Worship round the Christmas tree raised £194 for Douglas MacMillan Continuing Care.
